ASR’s Pioneering Solar Solution: Revolutionizing the Future of High-Speed Rail in the US

On May 25, 2023, after a conversation with an Exec Sec of the California High Speed Rail Authority, about ASR, she welcomed ASR’s information which I suggested being distributed to the CA HSRA Board. Upon receipt of my information, I received a warm thank you letter for the information.

On June 12, 2023, Forbes Magazine published a story, https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2023/06/12/californias-100-billion-electric-bullet-train-will-be-fully-solar-powered/?sh=58951fd96796that.  CA HSRA had decided they were going to use solar energy for their entire train system. It appears the Board liked what they saw. Afterwards, CA HSRA published their Sustainability Report making their reasoning very clear. Their calculations and the way they were going to obtain the solar coincided with the information I provided.

Forbes reported both CA HSRA and Brightline, the two operating high speed rail companies in the US,  to adopt solar as their energy source.  Following this powerful validation of ASR, the Federal Railroad Administration was made aware the US high-speed rail industry had taken a sudden and epic turn in their power choice. ASR’s solar formula changed high-speed rail.

Next is the EMDI Adoption!

On Sept 27, the FRA set up a meeting between my staff of 4 and the FRA’s staff of 9. ASR gave a short presentation and then took questions. At the conclusion of the meeting the FRA was satisfied and offered to meet weekly if it would expedite our work on the first EMDI rail car.

ASR convincing the FRA to work us to rapidly bring the EMDI rail car and the Continuous Railway System into being perhaps was the most important turning point in the company since ASR’s inception.
