Pea Pro Nutrition Ltd. (PPNL) is constructing a yellow pea wet fractionation facility in Lethbridge, AB. The PPNL facility will produce pea protein isolate (“PPI”) as its primary product, for sale as a food ingredient. PPNL has recently acquired LA Grain Ltd., a pulse crop processor that has specialized in the primary & secondary processing of yellow peas for decades and will supply yellow split peas to PPNL as the raw feedstock for the new facility.
